general in response to julia's question: I've heard there are surfing possibilities on the beaches of Costa rica, in Tamarindo more precisely. As I'm a lover of this sport, I'd like to know how things are there.(give a different answer) .
Some people claim that Tamarindo beach is not at all as attractive as all the other beaches of Costa Rica. Despite all this, one thing is for sure: it's the best when it comes to surfing. Gear can be rented at the numerous spots on the beach, so if you love this sport, you'll definitely love it here. No danger of sharks, so surfing is at its highest :)
