Day-trip to Playa Grande from playa Tamarindo

In case you've had enough surfing and sunbathing in Tamarindo, and wish to see some nice interesting spots in the area, you could go on a trip to Playa Grande. From October to March, the place is famous for the leatherback turtles that nest around here. As the Playa is part of a national park, it can only be visited during daytime. At night, many patrols make sure the turtle nests are safeguarded, so it can be a little difficult to stroll around.
