general in response to stacy's question: Is there anything to do in Quepos, Costa Rica? I could take a short visit during a week-end in case it's worthwhile.(give a different answer) .
Quepos is mainly famous as a banana exporting port, although nowadays it's lost its port function. In the southern part of the city, there are restaurants, hotels and bars, as well as a lovely park with rich wildlife and picnic sites. The beaches nearby are also beautiful. Could make a wonderful week-end destination.
