Yes, at the base of Volcan Arenal, there's the Lake (or Lago, in the local language) Arenal. Actually, it's an artificial lake, made to produce hydroelectricity, so, if you were expecting a volcanic lake, it's nothing of the kind. However, there are plenty of fun activities you can try there: hiking, mountain biking or even windsurfing on the lake.
